ABOUT MEZHTOPENERGOBANK

The Joint-Stock Commercial Interregional Fuel and Energy Bank Mezhtopenergobank was founded in 1994.

Mezhtopenergobank is a universal credit institution.  Its general licence gives the Bank the right to conduct all sorts of banking operations, both in roubles and in foreign currency.  Mezhtopenergobank also has a licence to perform operations with precious metals and a licence as a professional participant on the securities market allowing it to carry out broker, dealer and depository operations, and activities to manage securities.

The Bank is the Authorised Bank of the Moscow Government, an Authorised Dealer of the Bank of Russia on the government securities market, a member of the Association of Russian Banks, the Moscow International Currency Association, the Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange and the Russian National Association of SWIFT Members.

In October 2005 Mezhtopenergobank was admitted into the deposit insurance system.
